Our Story

Starting a garden from scratch can feel overwhelming. Which plants work together? How many do you need? How do you make it feel intentional instead of scattered?

Our Garden Collections are designed to answer those questions.

Each collection is a complete planting for a 4x4 space, composed of plants that work together in structure, color, and growth habit. They’re designed to be simple to install, easy to expand, and to look better with each passing season.

  • Each collection is modular.

    You can:

    • plant one for a small space

    • repeat it to expand across a bed

    • combine different collections for a more layered garden

    The goal is a garden that evolves and improves over time.

  • Plugs, or landscape plugs, are small plants in their first year of growth. We sell native plants in plug form, because they are easy to install, cost-effective, and grow well.

  • Landscape plugs are very young plants. Your landscape plug is ready to be planted when it looks slightly root bound. That’s a sign that the root systems are healthy enough to go into the ground.

    To install a plug, dig a hole as deep as the plug and slightly wider. Insert, fill back in with native soil or amended soil if you have heavy clay. Water deeply, and continue watering for the first growing season.
